I didnt get too much done otherwise. At a slow pace today, sorry oppo. I have an issue where nothing is supporting the back of my engine outside of some jack stands, so i cant get the trans in since i cant raise the car and i cant raise the car because the engine is on stands. Ultimately came to the conclusion that rachet straps are the answer, although finding a suitable position was a challenge. I finally settled on strapping the front down instead of the rear up.

Ill try for the trans this evening/tomorrow. Its just stressin me too much today.

Only about 1/4 of these cars snuck out with a manual because they stopped production of the poncho motors in ‘78. Those have quite a price premium
